On June 10th the board of the Leechburg Area Community Development Corporation voted to set aside $20,000 for the completion of two projects, one at the Leechburg Pool and another at the Leechburg-Gilpin Park.
The project identified at the pool is the replacement of all three diving boards and replacement of the high dive wooden stairs with new stainless-steel stairs.
At the Leechburg-Gilpin Park the refreshment stand deck and stairs will be replaced.
Both projects should be completed before Fall and will make a significant improvement at each of these venues.
